About the iPhone 18 Pro
The iPhone 18 Pro is Apple's most capable iPhone to date, arriving on 19 September 2026. It pairs the A20 Pro chip — with a next-generation vapour chamber and Dual 16-core Neural Engine — with a 48MP Fusion Main camera that introduces a variable aperture for real optical depth-of-field control.
Around the front, the 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display gets brighter, adds better anti-reflection, and keeps ProMotion up to 120Hz. The Ceramic Shield 2 front offers 3x better scratch resistance than iPhone 16 Pro, while Ceramic Shield on the back rounds out one of the most durable designs Apple has shipped.
Battery life sees one of the biggest jumps in years — up to 23 hours of video playback, roughly 3 hours more than the iPhone 17 Pro — with faster wired charging that hits 50% in around 15 minutes. Combined with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and the new Siri AI, the iPhone 18 Pro is built to last through the AI era.
